Swami Rajkumar, head of Shri Ram Vallabha Kunj and chairman of Vikramaditya Mahotsav Samiti, has called it an attack on Sanatan Dharma. He said that tampering with Sanatan Dharma and culture will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

An attempt has been made to portray the one who plays Ravana in another form as Khilji. This is very despicable. I condemn it. I try my best that society will also condemn me. Will boycott their films.
