CBSE's warning- Do not start the session before April 1

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has warned schools not to start the new academic session before April 1. The board has said that there is a danger of causing anxiety and fatigue among the students. This warning of CBSE has come in many schools, especially after the commencement of the academic session of classes 10 and 12.
CBSE Secretary Anurag Tripathi said in the order, it has been observed that some schools have started their academic session very early so as to complete the whole year's syllabus in less time. But there is a danger of causing fatigue in the students. This can lead to anxiety and burnout in them.
The board has noted that starting the academic session ahead of schedule does not provide enough time to the students for extra-curricular activities such as value education, life skills, health, physical education and community service.
Principals and heads of institutions are advised not to start the new academic session. The academic session lasts from 1st April to 31st March. Follow it strictly.
CBSE's class 10th and 12th board exams are currently going on. The examinations for both classes started on February 15. Class 10th exams will end on March 21 and class 12th on April 5.
CBSE launches a reading app To develop the habit of reading among the students of CBSE-affiliated schools, the board has launched a reading app. E-books are also given on this. The board has taken this step under the new National Education Policy 2020. In fact, after the Corona period, the interest of students to study decreased slightly. Keeping in mind the interest of the students, the reading app has been launched by CBSE. Children's literature has also been given on this. You can download reading apps from Google Play Store and App Store.
Through this app, the facility has been given to read not one or two but thousands of books online. Due to this, students will now be able to read stories and children's literature online through audio and video. CBSE has launched Reading App with the aim of increasing interest in reading among students.
