Jitendra Kumar, who was working as Deputy Legal Advisor of CBI, has committed suicide. His body was hanging on the balcony of the flat with the help of a belt. He lived alone in a flat given by the central government at Hudco Place in the Defense Colony area of Delhi. His family lives in the Mandi district of Himachal.
On receiving information about Jitendra Kumar's suicide, the police sent the body to AIIMS Delhi for post-mortem. Police have started investigating the matter. A suicide note has also been found with him, in which it is written that no one is responsible for his death. The reason why Jitendra Kumar committed suicide is not yet clear.
According to the information that has come out, he had some health-related diseases, about which he was very worried. He was also in a lot of depression for the last few days. He was transferred to Chandigarh Delhi only two years ago. She was currently the Legal Advisor of ACB. One of his units is investigating the liquor scam in Delhi, although Jitendra has nothing to do with this investigation.
The wife of the deceased lives in the Jyoti Mandi district and the brother lives in Chandigarh. After getting the information, both the wife and brother Rajendra of the deceased have come to Delhi. Senior officers of CBI have also been informed about this. Police did not find any foul play. The body has been kept in the mortuary and the postmortem will be done tomorrow.
