Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to the people so that they become aware of the issue of one nation, one election. With this appeal from the PM in consideration, trade body CAT has planned a nationwide campaign. In this, one nation, one election would be made known in each state, each city, as well as in tiny rural towns of the country. The campaign will begin in Delhi on April 10. Under the first phase, programs would be arranged in the capitals of all the country's states, under the second phase in all the country's major business cities, and in the third phase at the district levels.

National General Secretary of Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) and BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal said that this is a very far-sighted step that will ensure political stability, economic strength, and good governance in the country. This will also help in making the business structure of the country stable and strong. Under this campaign, seminars, workshops and dialogue sessions will be organized through thousands of different trade organizations across the country in which election reforms and economic effects will be discussed.

Many political analysts believe that the development of the country is affected by frequent elections. Political parties remain busy in elections and are unable to pay attention to the development work of the public. The administration of the country and the state, and the police service also get busy in elections, which causes loss. It is believed that by holding elections at one time, the country will save thousands of crores of rupees. This will enable other development works.
