Airtel Payments Bank has partnered with parking company Park+ to provide FASTag based smart parking solution at Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport, Varanasi. Let's say, Airtel Payment Bank also works to issue FASTag.
FASTag-based smart parking solution is a cashless payment system, in which automatic payment is made when vehicles are parked at the airport. This makes payment in the parking zone faster and also saves a lot of time.
At present, paying for parking at the airport takes a long time, and due to this, the movement of vehicles also becomes very slow.
A statement was issued by the company saying that people can now easily pay through FASTag at Varanasi airport.
Commenting on the partnership, Ganesh Ananthanarayanan, COO, of Airtel Payments Bank said that the objective of this partnership is to provide a great and convenient experience to the customers. Also said that both organizations are working together to streamline the payment process by reducing the time taken in queues at major parking lots across the country and soon this service will be made live in other city airports as well. This will save a lot of time for the passengers.
Park+ is a mobile app that provides parking solutions. The company provides parking services in more than 2500 offices, malls, and societies across 25 cities including Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. Park+ was founded in 2019 by Amit Lakhotia. Investments have been made in this on behalf of investors like Sequoia Capital and Matrix Partners.
