According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), in such a problem, the bank has to resolve the complaint within 7 days and deposit the money in the account holder's account.
If the bank does not deposit money in the account holder's account, the bank gives you compensation. As per RBI instructions, the bank has to resolve the complaint within 5 days.
