Case filed: Woman travels to Pakistan using falsified passports
Based on the fake papers, the lady was able to get a passport and made her way to Pakistan
A 23-year-old Maharashtra resident is facing legal issues after it is claimed that she entered Pakistan using a forged passport and visa. According to a report by news agency PTI, the lady, named as Thane's Nagma Noor Maksood Ali, also known as Sanam Khan, reportedly changed her name and obtained her daughter's birth certificate, PAN card, and Aadhaar card from Lokmanya Nagar. According to authorities, she then sent in these falsified documents together with her passport application, and because of the forgeries, she was issued a false passport.
Based on the fake papers, the lady was able to get a passport and made her way to Pakistan. The occurrence happened in May of this year and May of 2023. Now, a lawsuit has been brought against the woman. In relation to the crime, an unnamed male has also been booked by the police. According to authorities, both of them were charged under the Indian Passports Act, and an investigation is currently underway.
