ATP Rankings: Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz has reached second place in the latest ATP rankings.

Tennis player 21-year-old Carlos Alcaraz moved to second in the latest ATP ranking that was issued on Monday after securing his first Monte Carlo Masters championship. Spain's Alcaraz, a four-time Grand Slam champion, secured his sixth ATP 1000-level championship by beating Italy's Lorenzo Musetti 3-6, 6-1, 6-0 in Sunday's final.
Simultaneously, 23-year-old Italian tennis player Lorenzo Musetti achieved a new career-high ranking at number 11 after reaching the Masters final for the first time. Germany's Alexander Zverev, who was defeated by Italy's Matteo Berrettini in the second round, now falls from second to third. Australia's Alex de Minaur rose to 7th after reaching the semi-finals. Andrey Rublev rose by a single point to 8th with Daniil Medvedev returning to the top 10. Defending champion Stefanos Tsitsipas of Green was defeated by Musetti in the quarter-finals. Greek player consequently falls from 8th to 16th.
However, three-time major winner Jannik Sinner remains at the top despite being out of the game since his Australian Open victory due to a three-month doping ban.
