Different business circles, social organizations and societies of Jaipur have started a public awareness campaign so that Holi is burnt not only in Jaipur but in all the cities of the state.
In the presence of Puneet Karnawat, Deputy Mayor of Greater Municipal Corporation, Ravi Nayyar, associated with the Board of Trade and Rajendra Singh, State President of Panchayat Samiti Rajasthan Union, said that under this campaign, all the organizations have made cow shelters from different Gaushala operators in Jaipur city and given the fixed concession. Asked to make it available to the common man at rates. These cows will be available in Pinjrapole Gaushala located in Pratap Nagar, Bagru Gaushala, Durgapura Gaushala and other Gaushalas in Jaipur.
Officials associated with the organization told that the amount of wood used in a Holi burning program is taken from one and a half trees of the age of 12 years. This time, we are getting Holi burning program done with cowhide at more than 3000 places in Jaipur. For this, a campaign has been launched to buy cowhide from people.
He told- If we are successful in this, then on the day of the burning of Holi, we will be able to preserve 2 thousand trees in Jaipur. He told that this cow dung is available at rates less than 50 percent of the wood available in the market for Holi burning or other events. Apart from this, all the money that is being received from selling these cow carcasses is spent on feeding and drinking water for the cows in the gaushalas.
