The Calcutta High Court has sought a report from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on the investigation regarding the Leaps and Bounds CEO. The court has directed ED to file a report on the progress of its investigation. The ED has alleged that Leaps & Bounds was used for dubious transactions and has already arrested the company's CEO Sujay Krishna Bhadra.
Justice Amrita Sinha of the Calcutta High Court directed the ED to file a report regarding the progress of the investigation in respect of the CEO of the company on the next date of the hearing. Justice Amrita Sinha directed the CBI, which is probing the alleged school jobs scam, besides the ED, to send a list of candidates allegedly appointed without the requisite qualifications to the West Bengal Board of Primary Education, which will verify it and then take necessary action. Will take steps. CBI counsel said that more than Rs 126 crore in cash has been recovered in connection with the scam.
