BYD eMAX 7 gets a new couple of LED headlamps and an updated grille design. Coupled with this, designers have given new design alloy wheels, bumpers, and LED tail light setup.
The India-spec model will come with a 6-seater layout and its cabin would look similar to the BYD M6. It has a dual-tone cabin theme, new drive mode, 12.8-inch rotating touch screen, wireless phone charger, panoramic glass roof, and ventilated front seat. For the safety of the passenger, six airbags, 360-degree cameras, tire pressure monitoring systems, and all-wheel disc brakes have been provided.
Not only that, but it is also bestowed with features such as Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistant System, or ADAS, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Blind Spot Monitoring.
In the global level model, there are two battery back options: the first is a 55.4 kWh pack and the second is 71.8 kWh. It has Vehicle-to-Load or V2L capability. According to the claims by the company, this electric car provides a range of as much as 530 km. It is expected that the ex-showroom price of the BYD eMAX 7 to be launched in India can be Rs 29.15 lakh. In the Indian market, it shall compete with the likes of MPV Toyota Innova High Cross and Toyota Innova Crysta.
