We have good news if you are a Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) customer who has been waiting for 4G service. In August of this year, it will be introduced nationwide. Since 5G was introduced to the nation two years ago, and BSNL is still having trouble with 4G, this may seem a little strange to you.

According to a PTI report, BSNL officials have said that BSNL's 4G services will start rolling out in the country in August. It is being said that speeds up to 40-45mbps will be available on BSNL's 4G network. BSNL's 4G service will launch at 700 MHz and will be moved to 2,100 MHz band during the pilot project.

TCS, Tejas Network, and government ITI have received Rs 19,000 crore from BSNL for 4G and 5G services. Under this, BSNL's 4G and 5G services will be expanded in the country.

BSNL will install about 1.12 lakh towers across the country for its 4G and 5G networks. The company has so far installed 9,000 4G towers, of which 6,000 towers are active in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh West, Himachal Pradesh, and Haryana circles.
