BSF Returned The 3-year-old Child Who Had Strayed On The Indo-Pak Border To Pakistan

Chandigarh. The Border Security Force (BSF) handed over a three-year-old Pakistani boy who unintentionally crossed the International Border (IB) in Punjab to his family. Officials gave this information on Saturday. The incident took place in the state's Ferozepur sector at around 7 pm on Friday, when BSF personnel saw a child crying near the fence on the International Border.
He said the child was crying and saying "papa, papa", following which the BSF field commander offered to hold an immediate flag meeting with the Pakistani Rangers so that the child could be handed back. Soon after, the child was handed over to the Rangers in the presence of his father, officials said.
