British brand BSA is going to return to India again on Independence Day on 15 August. BSA, the maker of Jawa and Yezdi motorcycles, is now returning to India with the Gold Star 650 motorcycle. Let's know what features this bike is going to come with.

The company has retained the classy British styling of the BSA Gold Star. There are seven big metal tanks in line, displaying heavy chrome work with machined parts wrapped. A gold headlamp, along with a wide handlebar, gives a feel to this motorcycle prior to the 1980s. Apart from this, the bike is bestowed with features like a single-piece seat, twin-pod instrument cluster, and curved fenders.

The design of the Gold Star has been maintained, great for a retro look, but new features have been furnished with it. That way, an impact is added in that the bike has a modern touch with an old look. You also get features that include a USB charging port, a slipper clutch, and a dual-channel ABS. Talking about hardware, telescopic front forks, dual rear shocks, and an 18-inch front and 17-inch rear tire will make their way on this motorcycle.

Both the tires of the bike can be seen with the disc brake and dual-channel ABS features.

Besides this classy exterior, the BSA Gold Star is powered by a 652cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, producing 45 horsepower and 55 Nm of torque. Its engine comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. The BSA Gold Star 650 is within the ex-showroom price range of Rs 2.20 lakh and Rs 2.60 lakh, competing with the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.
