According to reports, Devra is a rural action film in which Kapoor plays the role of Jr NTR's girlfriend. The film is being directed by Koratala Siva and is currently being shot in Goa.
Some experts believe that Kapoor's role as a village girl in Devra will help her establish her foothold in the South Indian film industry. Earlier, actresses like Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Rashmika Mandanna have played the roles of innocent rural beauties in films like Rangasthalam and Pushpa, respectively. These characters took their popularity to new heights.
