BJP MP had opened the emergency gate of the plane: Scindia said- Tejasvi Surya accidentally opened the gate apologized

Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has given a statement regarding opening the emergency gate of Indigo airline's aircraft. He said the flight was on the ground, and Tejashwi Surya had accidentally opened the door. The flight was allowed to take off after all the security checks. He has also apologized for the mistake.
After Tejashwi Surya's name cropped up in this case, opposition parties and people started asking why the case was not being registered against the BJP MP. After this Jyotiraditya Scindia has given clarification.
In fact, on 10 December 2022, Indigo's plane was going from Chennai to Tiruchirappalli when the flight was on the ground, and Tejasvi Surya had opened the emergency exit. Regarding this, the airline told on Tuesday that during boarding in Chennai, a passenger had opened the emergency gate of flight 6E 7339.
The airline, without naming Tejashwi Surya, had told that the passenger put his hand on the emergency gate which opened it. He apologized for this mistake. The flight took off only after completing all the security checks, due to which the flight was able to reach Tiruchirappalli with a delay of two hours.
A senior DGCA official said that the incident was immediately noticed and the safety of any passenger was not compromised. The passenger accidentally opened the emergency gate on the right side of the plane. The official said the crew took all necessary steps after the incident. The door was reinstalled and a pressure check was carried out before the aircraft took off.
The Karnataka Congress tweeted one after the other on Wednesday saying that Tejashwi Surya behaves like children everywhere. Opening the emergency gate is a punishable offence. Why are aviation authorities trying to hush up this matter? Who would be responsible if an accident happened? Why does Tejashwi Surya do childish acts everywhere? Why has Tejashwi Surya not given any statement about this till now?
A passenger present in the plane told the media on Tuesday that the flight from Chennai to Tiruchirappalli was about to take off. Meanwhile, the crew members were briefing the passengers about the safety protocols when Surya suddenly opened the emergency gate.
After this, all the passengers were taken down. Everyone was told that air was leaking from the emergency gate, so the flight was stopped. Following the incident, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) conducted an investigation into the security of the flight. Then the flight took off. During this whole process, the flight was delayed by 2 hours.
