World Cup 2023 is going to start in a few hours. The first match in this Mahakumbh of cricket will be played between the last World Cup winners England and New Zealand. About 40 thousand women will be able to watch this match played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad for free. BJP has announced that a free match will be shown to about 40 thousand women. Not only this, along with free tickets, they will also be provided free vouchers for lunch along with tea. BJP has issued special instructions to local officials for this.

Regarding free tickets for the first match of the World Cup 2023, BJP Vice President of Bodakdev area Lalit Wadhawan said that the idea of attracting women to the stadium is inspired by the Women's Reservation Bill passed in the Parliament only last month. Therefore, today 30 to 40 thousand women will be present in the stadium in Ahmedabad to watch the match.

Speaking to The Indian Express, Wadhawan said that tickets have been distributed to women and our volunteers have also been asked to send their names. On the question of where he got so many tickets, he said that these tickets were obtained from above. He said that these women would reach the stadium themselves. They will also be given coupons for tea and food.

At the same time, according to a senior member of the Gujarat Cricket Association, some places are reserved for school children to watch the matches, due to which the stadium gets filled and a festive atmosphere is seen. The only difference this time is that this time there will be female viewers. When he was asked where he got the tickets, he refused to answer.
