Bill Gates meets Ratan Tata and Sachin Tendulkar: talks about child healthcare, diagnostics and nutrition

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is on a tour of India. On Wednesday, he met Tata Sons Chairman Emeritus Ratan Tata and current Chairman Natarajan Chandrasekaran. Earlier Tuesday, Gates also met former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, RBI Governor Shakti Kant Das and Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra.
Both Ratan Tata and Bill Gates are known worldwide for their philanthropic work. During the meeting, both talked about strengthening their joint efforts in the areas of health, diagnostics and nutrition. Gates Foundation India made a tweet in this regard. In a tweet, the Foundation said that we look forward to strengthening our work together and partnering for health, diagnostics and nutrition.
Earlier on Tuesday, Bill Gates had met Sachin Tendulkar, known as the God of the cricket world and former Indian team batsman. Sachin shared several photographs of his meeting with Gates on Twitter. Apart from Sachin in the photographs, his wife Anjali also appeared during the meeting with Gates.
Sharing the photo on Twitter, Sachin wrote that we are all students for life. Today was a great learning opportunity to gain perspective on the philanthropy our foundation works on, including children's healthcare. Sharing ideas is a powerful way to solve the world's challenges.
Anand Mahindra shared a photo with Bill Gates and also talked about his meeting. In the post, Bill Gates is seen gifting some of his books to Anand Mahindra. Bill Gates also shared a lovely message in the book. Bill Gates wrote, 'Best wishes for Anand, the classmate.' Bill Gates and Anand Mahindra used to study together at Harvard University.
Anand Mahindra tweeted, 'Nice to meet Bill Gates again. There was no discussion on IT or business between our two teams. We talked about the kind of impact we can make on society by working together. Though I made a profit, I got autographed books for free.
Bill Gates also met Reserve Bank of India Governor Shaktikanta Das on Tuesday. This meeting took place in the Mumbai office of RBI. Several issues were discussed between the two, such as financial inclusion, payment systems, microfinance and digital lending.
