Bilawal Bhutto said - India is not going to negotiate: said - the reason for going is the SCO summit

Pakistan's Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto will visit India on May 4 for the meeting of Foreign Ministers of SCO countries. Before coming to India, Bilawal Bhutto made it clear in an interview with the Pakistani channel Duniya News that this visit is not to improve relations with India.
He said, "We are committed to the SCO charter. This visit should not be seen in relation to talks with India. Keep it confined to SCO." Earlier, when India's Foreign Ministry was asked about Bilawal's visit, spokesperson Arindam Bagchi had said that it would be wrong to focus on any one member of SCO.
This will happen for the first time after 12 years when the Foreign Minister of Pakistan will come to India. Earlier in 2011, former Foreign Minister of Pakistan Heena Rabbani Khar had come to India. India had sent invitations to eight countries of the SCO organization, including China and Pakistan, to participate in the foreign ministers' meeting.
It is believed that the Foreign Ministers of China and Russia will also attend the meeting starting May 4. India got the chairmanship of the SCO organization in September last year.
There has been no dialogue between India and Pakistan for 7 years. The Prime Minister of Pakistan came to India for the last time in the year 2014 after many years. He was invited to the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
It was seen as a new beginning between the two countries. However, this did not happen. PM Modi also visited Pakistan in the year 2015 after Nawaz Sharif's visit to India.
In an interview given to Financial Express, former ambassador Anil Trigunayat said, 'Nothing will change if Bilawal comes to India. However, it is possible that if there are not many differences in SCO during this visit, Shahbaz Sharif may come to India for the meeting of Prime Ministers in July. This meeting will give Pakistan a chance to explain its economic problems. This might help him as well.
SCO ie Shanghai Cooperation Organization was formed in 2001. SCO is a political, economic and security organization. It has a total of 8 permanent members including India, Russia, China and Pakistan. Initially, the SCO had six members – Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. In 2017, India and Pakistan simultaneously became members of this organization.
