Bhajanlal government came into action after the policemen boycotted Holi, found a way to solve the problem

The government is soon going to make a major announcement regarding the long-standing demands of the police personnel of Rajasthan. The government intervened after the police staff boycotted the Holi and the mess.

Additional Chief Secretary Home Department Anand Kumar said that when the news about Rajasthan Police jawans and officers boycotting Police Holi on March 15 came to the notice of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, he talked to the Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary Home Department, Additional Chief Secretary Finance Department, Director General Police, and Administrative Secretary Personnel Department on Monday and gave instructions to take appropriate action. The officials told the CM in the meeting that the service-related demands of the police personnel which also include their promotion, salary, and leave-related demands have been pending for the last 5-6 years.

Anand Kumar said that the CM has taken this matter very seriously. He has instructed to take necessary appropriate action on the points related to subordinate policemen and their welfare as soon as possible and to find a permanent solution to the long-standing problems. He said that in the near future, all these things related to policemen will be examined at the department level and future-oriented changes will be implemented in a new perspective.
