Beijing hospital fire: 21 dead, 71 rescued – figure expected to rise

A major hospital in the capital of China caught fire on Tuesday. 21 people died in this. The fire broke out in a hospital named Chenfeng Government Care Center. According to media reports- 71 people were evacuated by the Fire Safety Department. Most of the injured died in the hospital.
Apart from this, another incident happened. 11 people died in this.
An officer said – This is a very regrettable incident. I myself saw the incident from the window of my house. Some people were standing on top of the air conditioning unit. Some jumped over it. The condition of some of the injured is very serious.
It is not yet clear what caused the fire. Police said in a statement – the reason for this could also be a short circuit. We are investigating. At the moment, it is difficult to say what caused the fire. So far two rounds of search operations have been done. The fire is completely under control.
In addition to the hospital, a factory in Wuyi County also caught fire on Tuesday. 11 employees were killed in this. This fire broke out in the chemical unit of this factory. Police said- Emergency Medical Service took over the front soon. Due to this, not much damage could be done.
According to the police – wooden doors were made in this factory. Those chemicals were present in a part of it, which are used for polish. The fire started due to the mistake of an employee. The investigation is on in this matter. The owner of the factory has been taken into custody.
