Very few days are left for the Paris Olympics 2024. This Maha Kumbh of sports will be held in Paris, the capital of France from 26 July to 11 August. Fully prepared for this tournament, India has sent a team of 117 players with the aim to win record-breaking medals. Under this entire scenario, Board of Control for Cricket in India comes up with help for Indian athletes.

BCCI Secretary Jai Shah tweeted and announced that the board will give financial assistance of 8.5 crores to the IOA. Jai Shah wrote in the post, 'I am proud to announce that BCCI will support our best athletes representing India at the Paris Olympics 2024. We are giving Rs 8.5 crore to IOA for this campaign (Olympics).'

329 events of 32 sports will be organized in this mega event which will last for 19 days. 10,500 athletes from all over the world will participate in these events. 119 players from India participated in the Tokyo Olympics, who won 7 medals. This includes Neeraj Chopra's historic gold medal won in the javelin throw.
