BCCI not in support of hybrid model: The decision regarding Asia Cup has not yet been taken

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is not in support of the hybrid model of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for organizing the Asia Cup 2023. A meeting of the member board of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) was also held during the final of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 on Sunday regarding the Asia Cup. No decision came out during the meeting.
BCCI Secretary and ACC President Jay Shah had said that the presidents of Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka will come to watch the IPL 2023 final. During this, a final decision would be taken on hosting the 2023 Asia Cup, but it could not happen.
Pakistan has the right to host the Asia Cup 2023 this year. But BCCI has refused to send Team India to Pakistan due to security reasons. BCCI had asked to hold the Asia Cup at a neutral venue, but PCB did not agree. After this, a hybrid model was introduced by the Pakistan Cricket Board, under which an offer was made to organize India's matches in another country.
According to media reports, this hybrid model of PCB was rejected by the member countries (Sri Lanka and Bangladesh). Although the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) did not make any formal statement.
At the same time, Sri Lanka Cricket (SL) and Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) supported the BCCI in the matter of moving the Asia Cup tournament out of Pakistan (a neutral venue).
