BCCI announced to give 3 times more than ICC's prize money on Team India for winning the Champions Trophy

In a statement issued by the BCCI, it was said that after Team India's victory in the Champions Trophy 2025, a cash prize of Rs 58 crore was announced. Under the able leadership of captain Rohit Sharma, India dominated the tournament and registered a spectacular victory in the final.

Board President Roger Binny said that winning consecutive ICC titles is special and this award reflects Team India's dedication and excellence on the global stage. This was our second ICC trophy in 2025 after the ICC Under-19 Women's World Cup win. It highlights the strong cricket structure that exists in our country.
