Bank of Baroda launches Video Re-KYC, without going to the bank you will be able to do updates easily
Bank of Baroda on Tuesday launched Video Re-KYC which will give individual resident customers an alternative way to complete periodic updation of their Know Your Customer (KYC) documents without visiting the branch. To avail of the Video KYC facility, the customers should be Indian residents above 18 years of age and should have their Aadhaar number and original PAN card with them.
Bank of Baroda has launched 'Video Re-KYC' for the convenience of the customers. It is a modern way of doing KYC. Earlier the customer had to visit the bank to do KYC. Apart from this, KYC can also be done through net banking. Video re-KYC is a digital method. Through this, KYC can be done very easily through video calls.
Only customers who are above 18 years of age can avail this facility. Apart from this, he should be a resident of India. Customers should have their Aadhaar number and original PAN card with them whenever they get video re-KYC done.
For video re-KYC, the customer has to visit the official website of the Bank of Baroda. By going to this, they will have to suppress some basic information.
After that, he can apply for video re-KYC. Once the online application of the customer is submitted, a video KYC call will be conducted with the bank executive. This video call will require the customer's PAN card (), blank white paper, and a blue or black pen.
Any Bank of Baroda customer can get Video Re-KYC done between 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on working days. As soon as the video re-KYC process is complete, all the customer details will be updated in the bank's records. After this, the customer will also get a message for confirmation.
Bank of Baroda (BOB) said in a statement that customers whose re-KYC is due can complete their video KYC in a matter of minutes without visiting the branch.
Let us tell you that the central bank has instructed all the banks that they must get the KYC of the customer done. The Bank requires the customers to update their KYC documents with the Bank immediately when the KYC is updated. The roll-out of the video re-KYC facility has made the process very easy.
