The proposed Vande Bharat route from Banaras to Agra will feature eight rakes. Only one rake will operate on both sides. That is, the rake that will leave Agra Cantt will return from Varanasi. This will be the rake from Vande Bharat 2.0.

This rake, which simulates air travel, features armor. It only takes 140 seconds to reach 160 km/h. In this case, this train will be able to travel at 160 mph between Tundla and Prayagraj beginning in January 2025.

The Railway Board has also issued a letter allocating rakes. North Central Railway was given Vande Bharat with eight rakes. Apart from NCR, South East Railway, South Western Railway, and Eastern Railway have also been allotted one rake of Vande Bharat with eight coaches each. While South East Central Railway and Central Railway have got Vande Bharat with 16 coaches, Eastern Railway has got a 20 rake.

Now after the rake arrives, its route trial and speed trial will start. Till now all three Vande Bharats passing through Prayagraj are blue in color. In such a situation, it is likely that this rake will be saffron in color.

North Central Railway CPRO Shashikant Tripathi said that a high-efficiency compressor with UV lamps has been used in the rake of this train running between Baba Vishwanath's city to Taj City for a germ-free supply of air. Due to this, the experience of heat ventilation and air conditioning will be very different.

Each coach has 32 passenger information and infotainment systems. Four platform side cameras along with rearview cameras have been installed outside the coach. There is also a provision for loco pilot-guard communication with a voice recording facility. This train will run six days a week except Friday. Agra Cantt will do its primary maintenance.
