While chasing a target of 107 runs, the Nepal squad was all out for 85 runs in 19.2 overs, giving Bangladesh a sensational 21-run triumph. With this victory, Bangladesh has also qualified for the Super 8. Bangladesh's first Super 8 encounter will be against Australia on June 21.

In this match of the T20 World Cup 2024, Nepal won the toss and decided to bowl first. Bangladesh, who came to bat first, did not have a great start, and after that wickets kept falling at regular intervals. Bangladesh team was all out for just 106 runs in 19.3 overs. None of the Bangladesh batsmen could even reach the figure of 20. At the same time, Sompal Kami, Dipendra Singh, Lamichhane, and Rohit Paudel took 2-2 wickets for Nepal.

The start of the Nepal team, which came out to chase the target of 107 runs, was also not very special.
