Bajaj Auto announced that it has opened the 100th showroom of Triumph across India. That means Triumph has 100 dealerships in 75 cities of India. The company said that the 100th dealership has been opened in Dehradun.

To date, Triumph has sold over 50,000 units of Scrambler 400X and Speed 400 around the world, among the key markets of the US, Japan, Germany, the UK, and Australia. The new motorcycles, Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X have been produced in association with Bajaj Auto and represent the most affordable-inch motorcycles to the brand in its Indian portfolio.

The power unit for both the Scrambler 400X and Speed ​​400 is an all-new TR series for Triumph, being liquid-cooled with a 398.15 cc single-cylinder capacity. Power maxes at 39.5 bhp, while peak torque comes at 37.5 Nm. The engine gets a 6-speed transmission with a gearbox applied with a slip-and-assist clutch system.

The Scrambler 400X uses 43 mm upside-down big piston forks at the front and a pre-load adjustable rear mono-shock. Suspension travel is 150mm at both ends. The Speed ​​400 has a suspension travel of 140mm at the front and 130mm at the rear. The Speed ​​also uses the same USD forks at the front and a mono-shock at the rear.
