National record holder Avinash Sable won the gold medal with a timing of 8:31.75. He improved his previous meet record of 8:33.19 set in Lucknow in 2019. The 29-year-old athlete also holds the national record with a timing of 8:11.20. At the same time, Sumit Kumar won silver with a time of 8:46.93 while Shankar Swamy won bronze with a time of 8:47.05.
Sarvesh Kushare repeated his season-best result in the high jump. He equaled the six-year-old meet record of 2.25 meters, solidifying his 29th place in the Road to Paris rankings. He trailed behind Tejaswin Shankar (2.21 meters). JC Sandesh won the bronze medal with a distance of 2.18 meters.
Tajinderpal Singh Toor won the gold medal in the men's shot put, throwing 19.93 meters on his final attempt.
