The facelift version of Audi's luxury SUV Q8 is ready to hit the Indian market tomorrow. Many changes will be introduced into the facelift version. Its design will become even more superb, and many new features can be given in it.
German carmaker Audi has opened the bookings for Q8 facelift ahead of its official market launch in India. According to information received from the company, individuals can book this SUV through its online and offline showrooms. The Audi SUV can be booked at Rs 5 lakh.
According to Audi, some purely cosmetic changes will be made in the SUV.
This face-lift version will again have a three-liter V6 TFSI engine, like the current one. Coupled with this there will also be a 48V mild-hybrid system. It will get an 8-speed gearbox. This engine is going to give out 340 horsepower and 500 Newton-meter torque to the SUV. The SUV can be driven from 0-100 kmph in just 5.6 seconds, its top speed is going to be up to 250 kmph.
Before the launch, the company released a teaser of the facelift version of the SUV on social media. In the 15-second video teaser, information was being given about its features like front grill, LED lights, side profile, rear lights, air vents, rear bumper and exhaust, connected LED lights. The rest of this includes heated seats, head-up display and four-zone climate control.
While the ex-showroom price for the outgoing Audi Q8 falls between Rs 1.07 crore to Rs 1.43 crore, it's needless to say that the price for the facelift version can be just a little more than the current model, at best. Of course, directly rivaling the likes of some mighty bruisers of SUVs in the market delineated by the Mercedes Benz GLE and the BMW X5, this is the associated pricing with them.
