Audi Q6 e-tron gets RWD variant, will get this much range on a single charge with premium features
The Audi Q6 e-tron has an RWD variant. The Q6 e-tron shares its underpinnings with the Porsche Macan EV which is the first use of this platform for the company. This new model has a maximum output of 240 kW and is equipped with a 100 kWh high-voltage battery. According to WLTP, the Audi Q6 e-tron can provide a claimed range of up to 641 km.
The Q6 e-tron now comes in a new rear-wheel drive (RWD) version from Audi. According to Audi, it is extremely efficient, adding even more models to this all-electric SUV's lineup.
Based on the same platform as the Porsche Macan EV, the Audi Q6 e-Tron is the first vehicle from the company to use it. With two electric motors, this PPE architecture runs on an 800-volt electrical system.
With measurements of 4771 mm in length, 1993 mm in width, and 1648 mm in height, it provides plenty of legroom for passengers, even in the rear seat.
With a 100 kWh high-voltage battery, this new model can produce up to 240 kW at its maximum output. It joins the previously launched Audi Q6 e-tron quattro, which has a system output of 285 kW and the other is the SQ6 e-tron, which has a system output of 380 kW.
According to WLTP, the Audi Q6 e-tron can provide a claimed range of up to 641 kilometers. The company claims that the Audi e-tron GT boasts ultra-fast charging, which adds a range of 260 kilometers in 10 minutes with compatible high-power charging stations.
This new variant has a rear-wheel drive setup, powered by a compact but powerful permanent magnet synchronous motor. According to Audi, this motor delivers 240 kW of power and propels the car from 0 to 100 kmph in just 6.6 seconds.
The cabin of the Q6 e-tron features a 14.5-inch central curved display with its own AI avatar that transforms into an 11.9-inch driver display behind the steering wheel. Additionally, there is a 10.9-inch infotainment unit on the front passenger seat. The Q6 e-tron also features connected technology and supports over-the-air (OTA) updates.
