Asia Heroes of Philanthropy: Forbes releases the list of Asia's philanthropists. Today Forbes has released the Asia Heroes of Philanthropy List. The names of many philanthropists from India are included in this list. Let us tell you that along with Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani, DLF's honorary chairman KP Singh, the name of 37-year-old Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath is also included.

Forbes has released the 17th list of Asia Heroes of Philanthropy List. Many names like Infosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani, and DLF honorary chairman KP Singh are included in this list.

Forbes said in a press release that this unranked list includes people who are donating their earnings. He is giving personal time and attention to his selected works. The names of 15 philanthropists from Asia are included in this list. It does not include corporate philanthropy except for privately owned companies. The people included in this list are owners of many companies.

Infosys co-founder and chairman Nandan Nilekani donated Rs 3.2 billion (US$38 million) to IIT Bombay in June. Regarding this donation, Forbes said that this amount will be given in 5 years. This was to mark his 50 years of association with the Institute of Technology. From here he graduated in Electrical Engineering.

Nilekani has given a total of Rs 4 billion to the institute since 1999. Last year he donated an additional Rs 1.6 billion for educational purposes.

DLF Honorary Chairman KP Singh is also one of the donors. Let us tell you that KP Singh stepped down as Chairman of DLF in 2020. Apart from this, he sold his remaining stake in the real estate firm. Now Kampi Singh spends his time between London and Dubai. He has assets worth approximately US$14 billion.

K.P. Singh Foundation Trust and K.P. Singh Charitable Foundation Trust launched in 2020.

Nikhil Kamath has also made it to the Forbes Philanthropy list. He joined the Giving Pledge initiative in June this year. He had said in his affidavit that he is donating to deal with problems like climate change, energy, education, and health. Let us tell you that Kamath is the 37-year-old co-founder of Zerodha.

Kamath's YouTube podcast series 'WTF Is' is offering up to Rs 10 million (US$120,000). This amount is donated by Kamath and his show's guest business leaders to a charity chosen by the audience. Kamath has a net worth of approximately US$1.1 billion. He plans to donate up to Rs 40 million.
