As soon as the work-from-home is over, the number of resignations in TCS; Number of female employees leaving the job increased

On behalf of the country's largest tech company TCS, it was said that the rate of leaving the job of women in the company has surpassed that of men. The major reason behind this is the abolition of work from home by the company.

In an interview published in the annual report of TCS, Lakkar said that I think some women have changed their arrangements due to working from home during the epidemic, which prevents them from coming to the office again even after everything is normal. is stopping
The company did not mention the attrition rate on the basis of gender in its annual report, but it reached its highest level in the middle of the last financial year, which came down to 20 percent by March 2023.
Lakkar admitted that the rise in the attrition rate among women is a setback for the Tata Group. The company will try to change this trend again. The company's focus is on gender diversity.
Further said that in the financial year 2022-23, only 38.1 percent of the new recruitments made by the company were women. The company has launched the 'iExcel' program for the development of women. It has had 22 editions and has benefited 1450 women employees.
