Actress Arshin Mehta, who was last seen in political drama The Diary of West Bengal, confessed her love for playing various and bold characters. Inspired by her experiences growing up in an army school, actress known for playing roles in films Circle and Sallu Ki Shaadi dreams of playing roles that need physical training such as army officer.
Arshin expressed her admiration for films where characters do something meaningful for the country, referencing movies like The Hero: Love Story of a Spy. She’d like to play a character with strength and patriotism.
She also expressed her happiness in getting an adventurous spirit to play a role, taking Deepika Padukone’s act in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani as an example of a dream role. “I’ve always loved adventure and challenges, and characters that capture that energy are the ones I’d love to bring to life,” she said, reflecting on her personal love for adventure sports like bungee jumping.
Following the release of The Diary of West Bengal, which premiered in her hometown of Ahmednagar on August 30, Arshin’s father, Dr. Mehernosh Mehta, hosted a special screening. She added: 'It was surreal to have my film screened in my hometown'. Small town, big release, but that’s rare, and that meant the world to me.”
