Apple Watch will also keep track of the nap taken in the afternoon; if you doze off for a while, the time to sleep will begin counting
Now users are going to get the facility of many great features with the Apple Watch. Apple says that the new operating system is equipped with features prepared on Apple's sensor technology, advanced algorithm, and science-based approach. In this episode, an automatic nap detection feature is being brought for the users. With this feature, the user will be able to track his sleeping pattern.
Apple has recently showcased the latest version of the watchOS operating system watchOS 11 for its customers. The company gave information about watchOS 11 in its annual Worldwide Developer Conference.
The company said that the new operating system is equipped with features prepared on Apple's sensor technology, advanced algorithm, and science-based approach.
In this episode, a fresh update is coming out with a new online report. According to the report, with watchOS 11, the company is providing its users with an automatic nap detection feature.
Actually, this feature can be used by the user to track his sleeping pattern. Currently, with the Apple Watch, the user needs to activate sleep mode manually.
However, this method does not provide accurate information regarding sleeping patterns. This is because, if the user takes a nap once or twice in the afternoon, the data is often not included in the record.
Overall, accurate information on the user's sleeping hours is not provided. This type of issue will be resolved by the new feature.
The sleep recognition algorithm, together with the watch's built-in motion sensor, will keep track of these midday naps.
The user will be able to compare this data to their overall sleep pattern in the Health app's sleep section. To use this function, the user is not required to perform any special activity.
The company has already confirmed that watchOS 11 is being rolled out as a free software update for all users. This update is being rolled out for Apple Watch Series 6 and later watches that run on iOS 18.
