After a long wait, Apple has launched two new iPads this year including iPad Air (2025) and iPad 2025. The new iPad Air has an M3 chipset and apart from this, it has been introduced in two sizes 11 inches and 13 inches. iPad (2025) i.e. iPad 11 has been launched with A16 Bionic chipset. Its base model will now get 128 GB of storage.

The starting price of iPad Air (2025) is Rs 59,900, which means you will get an 11-inch and Wi-Fi model at this price. At the same time, the price of the Wi-Fi + Cellular variant with the same storage is Rs 74,900. The prices of 13-inch Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + Cellular variants are Rs 79,900 and Rs 94,900 respectively. iPad can be purchased in Blue, Purple, Space Gray, and Starlight colors.

The Wi-Fi variant of the iPad (2025) is priced at Rs 34,900 and the starting price of the Wi-Fi + Cellular variant is Rs 49,900. It can be purchased in Blue, Pink, Silver, and Yellow colors. Pre-booking of iPad Air (2025) and iPad (2025) has started and the sale will start from March 12. The company has also introduced the Magic Keyboard which is for the iPad Air (2025). The 11-inch keyboard is priced at Rs 26,900 and the 13-inch one is priced at Rs 29,900. The Magic Keyboard Folio is priced at Rs 24,900 which is for the iPad (2025).

The most important hardware upgrade that has been added to the iPad Air (2025) from Apple is the M3 chip. The company says that it is about two times faster than the previous iPad Air which was based on the M1 chip. It has iPadOS 18 built-in along with support for the Apple Intelligence features. The M3 chip also offers improved graphics performance like hardware-accelerated ray tracing, mesh shading, and dynamic caching.

Like the one that was introduced last year, the new iPad Air has 11-inch (2,360x1,640 pixels) and 13-inch (2,732x2,048 pixels) Liquid Retina LCD screens. It has a 12-megapixel wide back camera (f/1.8 aperture), while the front has a 12-megapixel center stage camera (f/2.0 aperture).

Both the 11-inch and 13-inch models are released in both Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + Cellular options. It has Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 for connectivity purposes, whereas the Wi-Fi + Cellular option has added support for GPS, 5G, and 4G LTE networks. It has a three-axis gyroscope, an accelerometer, a barometer, an ambient light sensor, and a fingerprint sensor to support Touch ID.

The iPad Air 2025 has a USB Type-C port. The 11-inch iPad Air contains a 28.93Wh battery and the 13-inch iPad Air contains a 36.59Wh battery. The battery life that the device offers, according to Apple, is 10 hours on Wi-Fi and 9 hours of video watching using Wi-Fi + Cellular.

The iPad (2025) is powered by the A16 Bionic chip, which was first launched in September 2022. According to the company, this new model delivers 30% faster performance than the previous entry-level iPad (A14 Bionic chip). It runs on iPadOS 18 but does not support Apple Intelligence features.

This time Apple has increased the default storage to 128GB, while its previous model started at 64GB. This new iPad has the same 12-megapixel (f/1.8) rear camera and 12-megapixel (f/2.4) center stage front camera, which was also in the iPad (2022).

In terms of network connectivity, the iPad (2025) is similar to its three-year-old model. It supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, while the Wi-Fi + Cellular variant has GPS, 5G and 4G LTE network support.
