Apple is working on a cheaper Vision Pro headset, a lighter version will also come

You are aware that Vision Pro was first revealed in June 2023 and unveiled in the market in 2024. Since then, there have been numerous reports regarding it, hinting that Apple is planning a cheaper and lighter version of this luxury headset, though there was no word on it until today. Now some significant details regarding this project have been revealed by Bloomberg's popular tech reporter Mark Gurman in his 'Power On' newsletter.

According to Gurman, Apple is currently working on two new versions of Vision Pro. One of these versions will be lighter and cheaper, while the other version is being prepared on the lines of Meta RayBan-style AR glasses. The report claims that at present Apple is more focused on AR glasses, which can prove to be a big game changer for the company in the long run.

Talking about Vision Pro, it has not become Apple's most successful product so far. Its price was kept at $ 3,500 (more than Rs 3 lakh), due to which it was not possible for everyone to buy it. Not only this, many users returned it within some time after buying it and also took a refund.
