Apple has introduced its new MacBook Pro 2024 on the special occasion of Diwali. The MacBook Pro 2024 comes with the latest and superfast M4 chipset. This processor was introduced with the iPad Pro this year. The new processor has been prepared on a 3nm process. The MacBook Pro model has been introduced in different variants with M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max chipsets. MacBook Pro 2024 can be purchased in 14-inch and 16-inch display sizes.
The MacBook Pro (2024), which has a 14-inch screen and an M4 chip, starts at Rs 1,69,999 in India. In addition to this, the version is available with the M4 Pro chip, which costs Rs 1,99,900. With a 16-inch display and an M4 Pro chip, the MacBook Pro (2024) model costs Rs 2,49,900, while the M4 Max model costs Rs 3,49,900. this is available in Space Black and Silver color variants. The company's online shop and authorized dealers will begin selling the new MacBook Pro in India and other countries on November 8.
The just-launched MacBook Pro 2024 features Apple's latest M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max chips. These processors feature as many as 14 CPU cores, up to 32 GPU cores, and 16 Neural Engine cores, respectively. While Apple used up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB SSD storage on this particular version of the MacBook Pro, these things can go as high as 128GB of RAM and up to 8TB of total storage for editing.
The laptops' 14.2-inch (3,024x1,964 pixel) and 16.2-inch (3,456x2,234 pixel) Liquid Retina XDR displays have a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness (HDR) of 1,600 nits. Additionally, a nano-texture display finish is an optional option for the MacBook Pro (2024). It features a Force Touch trackpad and a backlit keyboard that supports Touch ID.
Connectivity options include the MacBook Pro 2024 with Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, three Thunderbolt 5/USB 4 ports, an HDMI port, a MagSafe 3 port, a slot for an SDXC card, and a 3.5mm audio jack. A 12MP camera is up front, with Center Stage support, sitting in the notch on the display.
The 14-inch MacBook Pro (M4) also gets a 70Wh lithium-polymer battery, whereas the M4 Pro and M4 Max have a larger 72.4Wh battery with support for 70W charging. For the 16-inch variant, it will come with a 100Wh battery that offers up to 140W wired charging. The new MacBook Pro is rated to provide up to 24 hours of battery life on a single charge for video playback, according to the company.
