TVS Motor Company has launched the Race Edition of Apache RTR 160. This motorcycle has been prepared as a sporty look version by the company, while this was already a sporty bike. Let's know about this new edition of Apache.
After launching the Black Edition of Apache RTR 160 and Apache RTR 160 4V bikes, the company has now brought the Race Edition of Apache RTR 160. It has revised the styling with the Race Edition to make the bike even more race-y. The special thing about this edition is its matte black color scheme, race edition logo, carbon fiber race graphics, and red alloy wheels. Because of this, this bike looks more sporty.
This Apache bike comes loaded with fuel injection, dual-channel ABS, slipper clutch, Bluetooth connectivity with SmartXonnect technology, digital instrument cluster, turn-by-turn navigation, LED head and tail lamps, new body graphics, and the TVS Connect app.
It comes with three riding modes: Rain, Urban, and Sport. It now gains features like race telemetry, call, and SMS alerts alongside gear position and gear shift indicator, plus many more like a lap timer, adjustable brightness, crash alert system, and GTT-Glide Through Tech.
Talking about its engine, the Apache Race Edition is powered by a 159.7cc air-cooled-type motor that churns out a peak power of 6.04 bhp and a peak torque of 13.85 Nm. It also comes with a 5-speed gearbox. This bike costs Rs 1,28,720 ex-showroom.
