Anupam has written a caption on his social media account with a picture of Rishi Sunak, saying that the country which has ruled Indians for 200 years, today the Prime Minister of that country has become a person of Indian origin. Rishi Sunak has recently been appointed as the new Prime Minister of Britain.
Sharing many photos of Rishi Sunak on his social media account, Anupam Kher wrote- "The question is not whether Rishi Sunak is Hindu, Muslim. Sikh or Christian. We should be proud of that 75th Independence Day. In a year, an Indian-origin man has become the Prime Minister of a country that has ruled us for 200 years. Every Indian should celebrate this achievement. Jai Hind."
Recently, Amitabh Bachchan had also expressed happiness over Rishi Sunak becoming PM on his social media account, now Anupam Kher's name has also been added to this list.
