From today, the month of September 2024 has begun. Oil marketing companies revise the prices of LPG cylinders and ATF fuel every first of the month. This time the oil company has increased the price of commercial LPG cylinders. On the other hand, ATF has become cheaper.

The key government oil companies of the country have declared a reduction of 4.6 percent in ATF fuel prices on September 1, 2024. Now, the price of aviation turbine fuel (ATF) in the capital Delhi has increased to Rs 4,495.5 per kilolitre. Earlier the price of ATF fuel was Rs 93,480.22 per kilolitre.

This, in fact, reduced the burden of those airline companies with whom fuel accounts for about 40 percent of the operational cost, with the reduction in ATF fuel.

Oil companies raised the price of jet fuel by 2% on August 1. The increase came after a steep 6.5% cut (Rs 6,673.87 per kilolitre) on June 1. In Mumbai, ATF price was reduced by Rs 4,217.56 to Rs 87,432.78 per kilolitre on Sunday.

After August, the price of commercial cylinders also increased in September. Today at 6 am, oil companies released the price of LPG cylinders. As per Jagran, oil companies have increased the price of commercial cylinders by Rs 39. There has been no change in the price of domestic cylinders. The price of commercial cylinders has been increased for the second consecutive time.
