Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) has announced the appointment of renowned teacher and Super 30 founder Anand Kumar as the honorary ambassador of South Korea tourism. The organization has also announced the launch of a special Korea Super 30 package through which students will get a chance to travel to the country and learn about its culture.

Super 30 founder Anand Kumar has been named the honorary ambassador of South Korea tourism for 2024. The agreement was signed in New Delhi on Wednesday. Anand Kumar will also visit South Korea for the official designation ceremony at the Seoul office of the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO).

KTO's Regional Director for India and SAARC countries, Myong Kil Yun, said, 'The book published in Korean language on the life of Anand Kumar, who has been very popular in South Korea due to his pioneering Super 30 initiative, was a bestseller. The film 'Super 30' starring Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan was made on the life of Anand Kumar.

He said Anand Kumar's initiative in the field of education will encourage talented students to explore the opportunities that South Korea offers. He said, 'It will provide Indians, especially students in the 14-18 age group, an opportunity to explore Korea's vibrant culture, historical sites and delicious cuisine and create lasting memories. Parents can also enroll their children in the Korea Super 30 programme by filling the application form.'

The selection of Anand Kumar as the Honorary Ambassador of Korea Tourism is significant for promoting relations with Korea through cultural exchange and opening up avenues for students. South Korea has also come up with Korea Super 30 travel packages to enable students to visit the country without any hassle explore opportunities and get acquainted with the culture.

Anand Kumar said on the occasion that it is a good initiative to give students the necessary experience of a technologically advanced country in modern times. He said, 'It will be a new experience for me to be a part of an international student exchange program. Distance does not matter in modern times. I am looking forward to this new adventure.'

Anand Kumar said that becoming the honorary ambassador of Korean tourism is not just a recognition for him but for all the teachers of India. He said, 'It also reflects the respect given to teachers by an educationally advanced nation like South Korea.'
