Actress Amrita Rao got recognition in the Bollywood industry through the 2006 film Vivaah. It has been one of the best hit films of his career. Recently, the actress talked about the experience of her work in this film. He told that after working in the film Vivah, he started getting marriage proposals from far and wide.
In an interview given to the YouTube channel of the production banner Rajshree Productions, Amrita recalled the days of the film and said- 'When Vivah was released, I started getting a lot of marriage proposals. There were not so many smartphones in India then, so I used to get these letters mostly from people in Canada and America.
He further said- 'He used to send me pictures of his house, his mother, and his cars. Then I used to laugh at these things. But when I look back, I feel how much impact a character has on people. He was really magical.
During the conversation, Amrita told that initially, the film was getting mixed responses. His character seemed old-fashioned to people. However, then filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya advised her not to worry about it, explaining to Amrita that the real decision of the film is taken by the audience. Please tell that the film had collected more than 100 crores after its release.
On the completion of 15 years of marriage in 2021, RJ Anmol shared a picture with Amrita and congratulated her. Not only this, RJ Anmol told that he had gone to see 'Vivah' in a theater in Delhi 15 years ago with his mother. Sharing the post, Anmol wrote – On this day in 2006, I went to see a marriage in a theater in Delhi with my family. After the film, my mother said- Son, if you bring a daughter-in-law, then bring it like this. I hope mothers all over the world tell this to their sons. He says - 'Mother Saraswati was sitting on my mother's tongue.'
