Amitabh Bachchan often shares interesting stories related to his life through blogs. In a recent blog, Big B recounted an incident from his school days when he got hurt while boxing. He had a scar under his eye and bleeding from his nose. Amitabh told that his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan was aware of this incident, then he gave Amitabh a book related to boxing, in which the veteran litterateur taught his son a great lesson. Amitabh told that recently Jaya Bachchan got that book of her father from his library. The book was somewhat brainwashed, though still readable.
Big B shared an anecdote from his childhood in his new blog. He told that when he was in fourth or fifth class, he participated in a boxing match and got hurt. After getting hurt, Amitabh wrote a letter to his father. In response, instead of a letter, Big B's father sent a book from Cambridge in 1953, on which his message was written.
Amitabh wrote in the blog- 'The fascination with books becomes justified when Babuji's books are kept in the library, by chance one finds such a book, which is signed by him. He has a special message, which is dedicated to me.
Amitabh further wrote- 'Boys High School, Allahabad... In 1953-54 I was in fourth or fifth grade and Babuji was in England for his studies. Then I took part in boxing. To increase the cock house points of my home Blue House. However, after winning some matches, I was defeated. Being a strong player, after the defeat, one of my eyes turned black and my nose started bleeding.
Amitabh further wrote- 'After many days a book came to me, which was related to boxing. The first page had his signature, date of purchase and delivery address, and his lesson, which read- 'Achhe kathin vaar man ko khushi dete hain'.
He wrote- 'Went to St. Catherine's College during the shooting in England in the early 2000s. During this, he also went to Cambridge to see the information manual of the college and to know the name of Babuji. As soon as people came to know that I had reached there, the faculty members surrounded me there. We sat together and had tea and talked, then I narrated the incident to him.
