Amit Shah will visit Chhattisgarh for 2-days and will meet with the Chief Secretaries of Naxal-affected states
Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah is coming on a visit to Chhattisgarh. Shah's three-day Chhattisgarh tour has been finalized. It is being told that Shah will hold a meeting of Chief Secretaries and Police Chiefs (DPG) of Naxal-affected states in Nava Raipur on August 24. Paramilitary force officers posted in Naxal-affected areas will also attend this meeting.

It is being told that Shah will hold a meeting of Chief Secretaries and Police Chiefs (DPG) of Naxal-affected states in Nava Raipur on August 24. Paramilitary force officers posted in Naxal-affected areas will also attend this meeting. During this, he will review the anti-Naxal operation and development works in Naxal-affected areas.
Earlier on Sunday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah granted Indian citizenship to 188 Pakistani Hindus in Ahmedabad under the new Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
Speaking on the occasion, Home Minister Amit Shah said that the government is determined to grant citizenship to persecuted minorities including Hindus, Jains, Buddhists, and Sikhs from neighboring countries, according to news agency IANS. Along with this, he also criticized the appeasement politics of the Congress-led India bloc.
