CDSL has informed the stock market that, in the meeting held today, the proposal regarding bonus shares has been approved.

When writing the news, its share price was trading at Rs 2,319.80, down Rs 71.30.

CDSL has declared the first bonus share. The record date about this has not been informed by the company so far. It said that the bonus shares shall be credited to the demat accounts of the shareholders by September 1.

No extra charge is payable by the shareholders for such bonus shares. Here, one share is issued as a bonus to the stockholder for each share.
