'America sees its future with India', Garcetti's big statement after PM Modi's visit to Russia
India-US Ties: The US envoy said that he has not come to this event to give a speech, teach or teach. He is here to listen, learn, and remind of shared values.
The American Ambassador to India, Eric Garcetti participated in the defence news conclave held in Delhi. He was also a speaker for the same. Inside his address, he talked about India-US relations. According to Garcetti, India-US relations are deep, old, and vast. There were many defense experts present in this program. Speaking on this occasion, Garcetti said, "America does not see the future of India in its equivalence, nor does India see its future with America." He claimed that it was the whole world that could give great things in their friendship. In other words, many countries were eyeing with hope that this friendship would work. He said that America and India will work as a powerful weapon against the waves coming in Asia and other parts of the world. Let us tell you that this statement by Garcetti came after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Russia.
I think we are connected to each other in the world. Now no war is far away and we have to not only stand for peace but also take concrete action to ensure that the war machines of those who do not play in a peaceful way do not continue. This is something that America and India need to know together," he said. He further added, "In the last three years we have seen countries that ignored sovereign borders. I do not need to remind how important borders are. This is a principle of peace in the world."
The US envoy declared that he did not come to the program for speech-making, nor to teach or preach, but rather to listen, learn, and be reminded of common values. He further said, "India sees its future with America. America also sees its future with India." He pointed out, "The relationship between India and America is very deep. It is deeper than ever before. Our hearts and minds are one, but how far two countries can move together and achieve results that can survive the security threats of this time is a question." Garcetti said neither the US nor India would be able to survive these threats in the Indo-Pacific today. He has termed the India-US defense partnership as "one of the most important partnerships" in the world.
