Amazing feature coming in WhatsApp, now phone storage will not be filled

WhatsApp is launching an upcoming feature with the help of which you can choose what will be the photo and video download quality automatically be in your phone i.e., whether it is of standard or HD quality.

According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is working on this feature in its Android beta version 2.25.12.24, although right now this feature is not available even for beta testers, but a screenshot has made it clear how this feature will work. When this feature is rolled out, then users will be able to access this setting from here. For this, you have to go to Settings > Storage and data > Auto-download quality.

Here a pop-up menu will open, in which you will get two options, one is standard quality and the other is HD quality. Using this option, you will be able to decide in which quality the photos or videos should be downloaded by default whenever they come to you on WhatsApp.

This feature is going to be particularly useful for those who wish to preserve mobile data or storage space. When you download images or video clips in high definition, more data will be utilized, and more space will be occupied. Alternatively, opting for standard quality will save data as well as storage space.
