All FIRs registered against Nupur Sharma Delhi transfer
SC said - Delhi Police will look into all cases, and stay on arrest till the investigation is completed. Nupur Sharma had filed a petition in the Supreme Court stating the threat to her life.

Former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma, who was surrounded by controversial remarks on Prophet Mohammad, has got a big relief from the Supreme Court. A special bench of Justice Surya Kant and Justice JB Pardiwala on Wednesday ordered the transfer of all the cases against Nupur to Delhi. The court has said that now Delhi Police will investigate all the cases.
At the same time, Nupur's arrest has also been put on hold till the completion of the investigation. Nupur had filed a petition in the Supreme Court citing a threat to her life. In this, there was a demand to club and transfer all the FIRs registered against him in many states, which was heard in the Supreme Court on Wednesday. The court has also allowed Nupur to approach the Delhi High Court to quash the FIR registered against her.
Earlier in the hearing held on July 19, the court had stayed his arrest till August 10. The court had issued notices to 8 states and the central government. The court had directed the states that no coercive action should be taken against Nupur Sharma.
Earlier, during the hearing held on July 1, the Supreme Court had strongly reprimanded Nupur Sharma. The court had held him "solely responsible" for the violence that followed his remarks on the prophet. The court had then said that Nupur made provocative remarks against a particular religion on television.
They have provoked the sentiments of the people and Nupur is responsible for whatever is happening across the country. He has posed a threat to the security of the country. The court said that he also apologized for his statement with conditions, that too when the anger of the people had flared up. It shows their stubbornness and arrogance.
The court said that what does it matter that she is the spokesperson of a party. They think that they have the backing of power and they can speak anything against the law.
Nupur Sharma made controversial remarks on the Prophet in a TV debate on 27 May, after which his statement started protesting across the country. At the same time, some Islamic countries also objected. Here, BJP distanced itself from Nupur's statement and expelled her from the party.
