Back-to-back films of Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar are flopping at the box office. Now during a recent interview, Akshay was asked about four consecutive flops, to which he replied that this is not happening for the first time. There was a time in his career when his 16 consecutive films flopped. After that, one more time his eight consecutive films flopped.
Akshay Kumar said, 'Many of my films could not run at the box office. It is nobody's fault but mine. Because the audience is changing, people now want to see something else in films. Because of this we also need to change, which I am trying my best.
Akshay Kumar further said, 'When your films flop continuously, it is an alarm of change for you. I try and do what I can. We should not blame the audience or anyone else for this. This is 100% my fault.
Akshay recently revealed that when his 15 consecutive films flopped, he thought of moving to Canada and had applied for citizenship there. Talking about this, Akshay had said, 'I thought that my films are not working and I have to work. I went there for work. My friend was in Canada and he said to come here.
Akshay further said, 'I applied and I left. I had only two films left to release and luckily both of them became superhits. My friend said to go back, and start working again.
Akshay's recently released film 'Selfie' could not do anything special at the box office. Emraan Hashmi and Nusrat Bharucha are also with him in this. The film is the Hindi remake of the Malayalam film 'Driving License'. After this, Akshay Kumar will be seen in the big 'Mian Chhote Miyan' with Tiger Shroff. Apart from this, he also has films like 'Oh My God 2', 'Phir Hera Pheri 2'.
